Reviews
I had a pleasant experience here. The cottage style restaurant felt very cosy and the food was authentic and amazing. I will surely visit again.
Nice authentic Thai restaurant with great service and quality food. Stuff and management team are very helpful and friendly. Keep up the good job.
Haven't dined in yet, but have purchased takeaways from here several times. Staff are friendly, quick and efficient when processing the orders. The manager is very nice, and prawn crackers and bottled beers are offered as complimentary items, which you can take with you if desired. Food is great quality, staples like Pad Thai, Chicken Satay (and importantly, the peanut sauce) are prepared to an excellent standard. Prices are reasonable, considering the speed and quality of the restaurant. Parking for pick up is the only minor gripe I have, and it isn't really the fault of the restaurant. You'll find short stay bays along the street, but they are usually busy. Alternatively, there are paid car parks nearby which can be used in a pinch. Overall, I am happy to recommend Chiang Mai Cottage and look forward to dining with them again soon!
We had the course meal which is available only on Sunday and Monday. The portions are so big, you will struggle to finish the main course at the end. But the jasmine tea at the end helped settle all the food down. A variety of ingredients and vegetables makes each dish , however I feel all the food was a bit run down, like it is delicious but seems watery. Nevertheless it is tasty food, the ambience is cosy with lots of Thai elements, and the hosts were very nice and accommodating.
